Remember the time when TV theme’s were awesome?

TV series openings, the best ones, what do they have in common? Well, I don’t know about you, but the theme songs are just as brilliant as the series itself. Here’s a collection of the golden greats.

MacGyver
An obvious choice. It’s just amazing. An action-adventure tune with great sense of suspense. And makes me want to watch another great episode of Mac and Pete get through obsticles.

Hill Street Blues

I remember this from my childhood. I might’ve not being allowed to watch this, but I remember listening to the theme and admiring the hope that is in the tune. Made me appreciate cops and their work.

Six Feet Under
A newer one. Love this for it’s identifiability. Makes me want to see the programme, and that’s basically why it’s there for. Right?

A couple of goofy ones.

Seinfeld

Law & Order

Itchy and Scratchy Show

And finally, a shitty one.
Well OK. It’s recognisable, kind of, but still. That’s no tune!
